Skill Focus:
Lower-Body Stability & Club Path
Coach Feedback
Over the past few weeks, we have spent significant time developing a more balanced and properly aligned setup at address.
Along with improving the setup, we have been working on rotating around a stable spine and maintaining better lower-body stability throughout the swing.
As shown in the swing video, the right foot sometimes lifts and moves too early during the downswing. When this happens, the right hip rises too soon, which can affect the swing path and cause the club to move more out-to-in through impact.
Next Goal
Our next focus is to improve the timing and stability of the lower body, especially the movement of the right foot and hip.
By keeping the lower body more stable and allowing the rotation to happen in the proper sequence, we can develop a more neutral club path and create more consistent ball contact.
